Get to Know Lionel Muskwe

First-Class Computer Science graduate.

Who I Am

I’m Lionel Muskwe, a Zimbabwean-born, UK-raised Computer Science graduate from Aston University. I blend technical depth with human-centered leadership. At university, I led as President of the Aston Computer Science Society (ACSS), hosted workshops, grew tech communities, and mentored peers. I was also Captain of the Volleyball Team and President of the Table Tennis Club, because leadership should extend beyond the screen. Outside the code editor, I train and compete in powerlifting. It's where I learned to love process, discipline, and progress. Strength training and software development have more in common than people think: both reward consistency, both require attention to detail, and both forge resilience.

Whether it’s on the platform, in a team, or at the terminal, I operate with precision, discipline, and vision.

Why I Do What I Do

I believe technology, especially Computer Science and AI, are some of the most powerful forces for positive change. From solving large-scale inefficiencies to enabling personalized education, healthcare, and automation, software lets us codify real-world problems into solvable systems. My passion lies in building tools that scale human potential. I’m drawn to AI because of its ability to amplify expertise, simulate complex decisions, and bring structure to the abstract. That’s why I built Articulate AI, to help people communicate better using intelligence that understands nuance. The problems we face as a society are growing in complexity, but so are the tools we have to solve them. I want to be one of the people shaping those tools.

What I Do

I build web apps with React, Next.js, Django, Docker, PostgreSQL, and more, shipping production-ready software for real clients. From AI feedback engines like Articulate AI to compliance platforms like CCP, I deliver scalable systems that work.
